OFF-CAMPUS PROGRAM AND GRADUATE STUDENTS COMMENCEMENT

Thomas Reilly, attorney general for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
was the main speaker at the off-campus program and graduate students Commencement
ceremony on Sunday, May 23 at the Alumni Healthful Living Center. Attorney
General Reilly received the Western New England College President’s
Medallion. In his speech, Reilly, a Springfield native, talked about the
need to apply passion and dedication in order to find success. He also
urged the graduates to help others, particularly children. Eric Carle,
the renowned author and illustrator of children’s books, also received
an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters during the ceremony.
