Cash Control DOR Clerk (Lead)
Six Flags New England, Agawam, MA is looking to fill the Cash Control DOR Clerk (Lead) position. Responsibilities include: oversee/enter the Gross Sales information into the Cash Control System; prepare the Daily Deposit and the Vault Daily Reconciliation Audit; Participate in the review and audit of the daily cashier over and shorts; distribute Daily Operating Reports to management upon completion; Review the cash control general ledger to ensure deferred revenue accounts are accurate; ensure all revenue adjustment entries have been entered; ensure all ATMs remain filled during operation; verify total cash entered into Cash Control System; assist with Accounts Receivable payment processing; Assist with bank exchange window, prepare change bank for issue to employees, computer operator and vault teller; assist with other finance related duties as deemed fit. Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week during the spring/fall and 30 hours during the summer. The applicant must have a high school diploma or GED; must be able to work with confidential information; must be able to work in a team environment; must be able to work in a fast-paced environment; must be available to work flexible hours during nights/weekends. Wisconsin Badger Camp is currently seeking energetic summer staff who are looking to make a difference and gain rewarding experiences working with people with disabilities. There is no experience necessary; the perfect staff member is simply someone who is excited to learn and has a passion for helping others. Wisconsin Badger Camp is a residential summer camp that serves children and adults with developmental, physical and/or emotional/behavioral disabilities. Our campers range in age from 3 to 93 and have a wide range of diagnoses such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down's Syndrome, Epilepsy, Spina Bifida and many other conditions. The Upward Bound program at Fitchburg State University, Fitchburg, MA has multiple openings for dynamic, versatile and committed Counselor/Tutors for the summer residential program. The 7-week position includes 1 training week and 6 weeks of 24 hr. supervision of 68 high school youth in a residential setting within an academic and recreational pre-college program. The program runs from June 23 - August 1, 2014 (June 16-22 Training week). The salary is $2,500 includes free room and board (Mon. - Fri.) The applicant must have 45 college credit hours (minimum) with a 2.8 or higher GPA; Driver's license required; strong leadership abilities, interpersonal communication skills and tutoring abilities in math/science/English/Spanish are a plus; experience with youth programs and summer camps preferred; demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of low income and the targeted youth population as well as the ability to work in a team setting.
