Resident Assistant, BUTI Summer 2013
Boston University Tanglewood Institute is recognized internationally as an outstanding educational opportunity for young musicians. The Maine Conservation Corps is dedicated to accomplishing outdoor recreation and conservation projects. Looking to hire Field Team Members from May 14 - August 9, 2013. Have fun and make new friends; live in some of Maine's most beautiful places; learn outdoor living skills; build experience in the field of Natural Resources; improve fitness through rugged and satisfying outdoor service; help maintain and restore Maine's Park and Public Lands. Training includes: First Aid and CPR certification; communication, conflict resolution and diversity training; introduction to trail tools; safety practices and personal protective equipment. Must have the ability to live and perform strenuous work under challenging conditions; have the desire to learn and serve with others to make a difference; must be at least 18 years old; must be a U.S. citizen; high school diploma or equivalent. Baseball Coaches
The mission of our MLB camps is to enrich the lives of children by providing exceptional baseball instruction, fostering fun, and building character. Our baseball coaches have one primary objective: ensure that every camper achieves his or her new personal best every day. Leadership, teamwork, preparation, initiative and effort are life skills echoed repeatedly throughout our curriculum. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: facilitate baseball skills instruction including drills, activities and games in a manner that maximizes learning for every camper and minimizes passive time; evaluate camper's skills and provide feedback to parents; implement daily curriculum and schedule as outlined by your managers and the company handbook; supervise campers including individual and group behavior management, health, safety and security; implement the MLB campus policies, procedures and safety protocols with enthusiasm. The applicant must have a minimum 4 years experience playing high school level or greater baseball/softball; 18 years old with a driver's license; professional, collegiate, high school or youth baseball/softball coaching experience; experience teaching or working with kids.
