Current WNE PharmD candidates can apply for admission to the PharmD/MBA dual degree program or the PharmD/MS in Organizational Leadership dual degree program upon completing at least one semester in the PharmD program offered through the University’s AACSB International-accredited College of Business. Applicants will be evaluated based on their performance to date in the PharmD program, including their undergraduate academic record, and their exam results for the GMAT or GRE. The Doctor of Pharmacy/MBA program offers a powerful combination of pharmacy and business for those interested in the practice of pharmacy in a business or managerial environment. Pursuing both degrees will allow students to take advantage of cross credits, where 6 credits of business coursework can be applied toward the PharmD degree, and 9 credits of pharmacy coursework can be applied toward the MBA degree. Pursuing both degrees together will save you time and more than $17,000 in tuition.
The Doctor of Pharmacy/Master of Science in Organizational Leadership program offers a powerful combination of pharmacy and management for those interested in the practice of pharmacy in a business environment. Graduates of the combined degree program will receive two separate degrees, one in business and one in pharmacy. Pursuing both degrees will allow students to take advantage of cross credits, where six credits of business coursework can be applied toward the PharmD degree, and nine credits of pharmacy coursework can be applied toward the MS in Organizational Leadership degree. WNE offers six-year bachelor’s/doctoral programs in collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences.
