Experiential Education Program

The Experiential Education Program is the practice component of the Pharmacy Professional Program curriculum. Its goal is to enhance students' attitude, skills, and knowledge to prepare them to provide excellent pharmaceutical care.

Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences

IPPEs occur during the first three professional years and involve on-site practice experiences in community and health system settings, including interactions with healthcare consumers and pharmacists.

Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences

APPEs consist of 36 weeks of pharmacy practice experience in the fourth year of the PharmD curriculum. The APPE program begins in May following the third year, finishing in May of the fourth year.
