Improving The Campus Community

We are pleased to announce the official formation of the Western New England University Staff Council. The goal of Staff Council is to improve the employment experience for the staff of WNE while contributing to the University's Mission and Values.

This initiative will enhance the quality of Western New England’s work environment and enrich community spirit by creating opportunities for community building, professional development, compensation and benefit enhancement, recognition of staff members, and other important needs.

Council members were appointed by their Vice Presidents to work collaboratively and strategically across divisions to advocate for and address cross-divisional, staff-related topics and concerns. Staff Council Officers have since been elected, and committees are in the process of being formed. Staff Council will meet monthly, with additional subcommittee meetings as required.
